Even a daily vacuuming program (highly recommended) cannot remove all of these contaminants. Your carpet is a filter and that filter needs to be cleaned periodically. My own recommendation is that carpeting should be cleaned at least once a year to insure a safer and healthier environment. If you have pets, the need can easily increase.

Yes, when applied correctly. These products are an effective way to prolong and enhance your carpet and upholstery.
3My carpet is really old, should I replace it?
Because of the costs that come with replacing a carpet, it's always best to try having the carpet professionally cleaned first. It costs less and makes a significant difference.

Typically 30 minutes per room, depending on how dirty the carpet is and if spot removal treatments are necessary.
